With the development of the power system, the capacity of operating equipment is increasing. For example, thermal power generation units have a single unit capacity of over 1000MW, and hydroelectric power generation units have a maximum single unit capacity of 800MW. Traditional testing equipment requires a large capacity for testing, and test transformers and voltage regulators are very bulky. Large capacity test power sources are also difficult to solve on site, making on-site testing extremely inconvenient. 1. The overcurrent protection setting is set at 1.2 times the rated current on the high-voltage side of the test transformer.
2. Overvoltage protection setting, set at 1.1 times the voltage during the test.
3. Connect the cable of the voltage divider to the two high-voltage terminals on the control console (all ground wires must be securely and reliably connected).
4. Connect the high-voltage current on the excitation transformer to the high-voltage current terminals on the control panel.
5. Voltage endurance time setting: Set the test time on the time relay to the desired test time.
6. After connecting the test wiring and checking for errors, close the circuit breaker on the control panel. If the voltage regulator is not in the zero position, it will automatically return to zero. Do not connect the main power supply, adjust the gap between the reactor core, and observe whether the lifting and gap limit protection functions are normal.
7. Close the main power supply, press the "boost" button, and boost the voltage to several hundred volts on the reactor. Adjust the air gap to tune the output voltage to the highest level. Once the tuning is complete, the voltage can be boosted. When the voltage reaches the test voltage value, an automatic voltage endurance timer will be triggered. When the set voltage endurance time is reached, the equipment will automatically step down to zero.
8. Disconnect the main power supply.
